Bubble Wrap

BUBBLE WRAP is a series that challenges the materiality of single-use plastic, with bubble wrap as the focal point. In a world where convenience often trumps sustainability, single-use items have become a symbol of waste. Now, more than ever, it is crucial to find creative ways to repurpose these unavoidable materials in line with the mantra “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” By transforming this fragile, disposable material into a more durable form, it takes on a new life, allowing it to mimic the very object its design is synonymous with - bubbles. Through these pieces, I explore the intersection of waste and art, provoking thought on the potential of discarded materials.
